Sidewalk Pooping

Anyone have this trouble with their Eskie? Skywalker has taken to pooping on the sidewalk. Now, he did this a little last winter, but not too much. He stopped doing it in the spring, summer and fall, but he’s back at it with a vengeance!

What is up with that?

I’m thinking he doesn’t want to spoil his clean white snow with poop, except he’ll pee on it, so I’m at a loss! I don’t really want to yell at him and have him think he shouldn’t poop outside or something. He’s a very sensitive dog.

Oh, well, it’s just another day in the life of an Eskie owner!

Stop with the licking!!!

Does your Eskie want to give you kisses? All Day?

If I would let him, Skywalker would do nothing but give me kisses.

If I talk back to the TV, he's coming over for a kiss.

If I cough, another kiss.

I've even been awoken by his kissing because I coughed in my sleep.

What's with all the licking? How can I make him stop?

What's an Eskie Lover to do?

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow...

We've had the first two snowfalls here in Wisconsin, leaving about 6" on the ground.

That's all right with Skywalker! He couldn't be more thrilled. He loves playing in the snow. When he first goes outside, he comes back to give me a kiss, as if to say, "Thanks, Mom, for the snow." Does it matter that I'm freezing my tush off? No, it doesn't.

He romps and jumps and plays. He never wants to come back inside. He digs his nose in the ground, looking for what I haven't a clue.

Could there possibly be anything happier than an American Eskimo dog romping in freshly fallen snow?
