Thinking about getting an American Eskimo Dog? Here's something you should know -- that no one told me until it was too late... They bark -- a lot. They love to tell you when someone is at the door. They will continue to bark, until you quiet them down. I've read all those experts on how to stop a dog from barking and it doesn't work. Skywalker barks. 95% of the time, he's a quiet boy, but once he gets started, he barks and barks! This is great because his bark isn't a little dog bark, but a big dog bark. However, if you live in an apartment and need a dog that's quiet -- don't get an Eskie!
